Ballyvolane Christmas Puddings in The Craft Shop

Christmas puddings by Ballyvolane House are now available from The Craft Shop, Lismore Heritage Centre.

Ballyvolane House is “an elegantly furnished, family-owned period home, offering warm hospitality and extremely comfortable accommodation” in the historic region of the Munster Blackwater Valley. Ballyvolane puddings come to The Craft Shop through The O’Brien Chop House, Ballyvolane’s sister restaurant in Lismore.

The food at Ballyvolane is country house cuisine based on the best of locally sourced slow food ingredients. Ballyvolane’s menus and puddings are all meticulously prepared by house chef Teena Mahon.

Ballyvolane’s light, moist Christmas puddings are made of a secret mix of butter, plain flour, Guinness, mixed dried fruit, lemon, carrot, apple, ground cloves, nutmeg and mixed spice. Full cooking instructions are enclosed so you can enjoy the puddings perfectly at home.

The 1lb puddings retail at €12.50 each and are beautifully presented to make a perfect gift.
