After School Science at Lismore Heritage Centre

Do your kids love science? Of course they do- science makes things light up, fizz, pop, bubble and explode! If your little Einsteins want to pack some extra science into their day send them to Lismore Heritage Centre’s After School Science.

Lismore Heritage Centre is an accredited Discovery Primary Science and Maths Centre with an extensive education programme including school tours, mobile workshops and children’s camps.

After School Science is specially designed to give curious children real, hands on experimental experience. Places will be strictly limited to ensure each child gets lots of time and practical involvement. Topics covered will include electricity, acids and bases, water and forces. The young boffins will build circuits, set off chemical reactions, make slime, launch rockets and look at life through a lens.

After School Science will run on Thursday evenings for 5 weeks beginning on 20th September. Sessions will last 60 minutes; from 3.30-4.30pm. The 5 week course costs €50 per child and is suitable for 2nd-6th class pupils. To book or for further information call Eleanor on 058-54975 or ehoward@lismoreheritage.ie
