On November 30th the wonderfully talented chef Michael Quinn will deliver a mouth watering Christmas cookery demonstration in the Park Hotel, Dungarvan. The annual Christmas demonstration marks the beginning of planning for the Waterford Festival of Food which will take place 15th-17th April 2011.
Michael Quinn trained at Ballymaloe Cookery School before working in their kitchen for almost five years. Michael ran his own restaurant Opus 1 and cheffed in Roscoffs in Belfast under the renowned Paul Rankin. As head chef at Waterford Castle Michael has transformed the hotel's Munster Room Restaurant into one of Ireland's finest dining experiences.
On the night Michael will be showcasing Sally Barnes Smoked Haddock Risotto, Roast Skeganore Duck and Blaa Pudding with Cinnamon Creme Anglaise. There will be lots of complimentary tastings on the evening including wine from The Wine Buff and beers from Dungarvan Brewing Company.
Tickets (€15) for this event will be on sale in Nude Food, Country Store and The Wine Buff in the week prior to the demonstration.
