After School Science at Lismore Heritage Centre also on Mondays
This autumn Lismore Heritage Centre presents After School Science a fun, hands on activity for primary school children whose heads are firmly in the laboratory!
Our first set of After School Science sessions on Thursday evenings is now fully booked. A second course featuring all the same topics and exciting experiments will be held on Monday evenings beginning on 24th September.
After School Science places are strictly limited to ensure each child gets lots of time and practical involvement. Topics covered will include electricity, acids and bases and water. The young masterminds will burn fuses, build lava lamps, make plastic and feel the force!
Lismore Heritage Centre is an accredited Discovery Primary Science and Maths Centre with an extensive education programme including school tours, mobile workshops and children’s camps.
After School Science will run on Monday evenings for 5 weeks. Sessions will last 60 minutes; from 3.30-4.30pm. The 5 week course costs €50 per child and is suitable for 2nd-6th class pupils. To book or for further information call Eleanor on 058-54975 or ehoward@lismoreheritage.ie
